Day 4

"happy girls are the prettiest" // miss Audrey Hepburn

One important step in seeing our dreams come to pass is in the people you take with you! Friends help build you up, challenge you to be better, open your imagination and cheer you on. They are there to accept you, laugh and cry with you and help ease your burdens... Remember to cherish them, to love them, to build them up and celebrate them.

play in the pouring rain. dance when theres
no music. walk barefoot in the sand. lay
under the stars. love like no other. share
secrets with friends. laugh until it hurts,
and remember, every minute of it, cause
you only get one life.

Day 2 & 3

Sing it, Bring it, Dream it, live it! All Moments of your life are key moments- so live like it is!
The last 2 days have been full of crazy fun filled moments, and all of those moments started because of my "yes". In our lives we have the power to receive opportunities or to loose them; and it has everything to do with our response. A great friend of mine always says "change isn't change, until we change" and its when we change our responses to situations, we will be able to see the difference it makes. On Saturday i had had the privilege to hang out with a group of people i work closely with for a survivor beach day, i seriously had so much fun and to think i almost didn't go. On Sunday i got the opportunity to sing in the worship band, which was amazing but i was almost to scared to do it. Two amazing days, that could have been heaps different if i had chosen a different response!

Day 1

Wow… Sisterhood last night was amazing! We heard an amazing word from Ps Vanessa Hoyes, Sing it, Bring it, Dream it, live it! One of the quotes used on the night was “I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I just lived the length of it, I want to know I’ve lived the width of it as well.” What we talked about was that we all have something inside of us that we are meant to let out, but for some of us we have decided to keep quite because we are afraid of the consequence of speaking up and speaking out. The fear of inadequacy, not having what it takes or not having all the answers, has been stopping us from being ourselves and shining the way we are meant to. What does it mean to our life when we shy away from being ourselves? Does it mean we may never see our dreams come to pass? for our lives to go forward we need to bring that spark out of us, we need to bring back those forgotten dreams and start to live as if they have already come true. So our challenge was to put down on paper or in my case computer a 90 day journal about how I am going to push past the fears in my life so I can live out my dreams today. So here I am, writing about fears… its amazing when you look back at your past and realize that your once fearless spirit has some how run away from us. It’s sad to even say it that me a 22 year old, looks back and can find that fearless spirit. I remember not caring what people thought of me, being silly, acting childish and running a muck; having that free spirit that loves nothing more then dancing and singing as much and as loud as I possibly can. It’s that free spirit that is going to help me achieve my dreams, so I need to try and find it again. So this is day 1 and let’s just hope that I will stick with it, I’ve never been that good at journaling but I’m going to give it a go. I may not blog everyday but will try my hardest! So if you would like to come along with me through this 90 day journey you are so welcome! Have a blessed day and hope the rest of your week goes swimmingly!
